are all too often lacking.

Poverty is multi-layered and not simply material. Poverty is also measured based on the care that a child receives. Mothers and fathers, however, are often unable to cope with their children’s educational needs. This robs the child of opportunities for a well-founded education and for the development of its unfolding personality.


Repeatedly disappointed curiosity or rejection resulting from parental worries and time pressures often lead to passivity, aggression and psychological and physical deficits.

Isolation and neglect are the grave consequences when children are not nurtured and where social integration fails to take place.

Socially deprived children live in a vicious circle. They often have an unhealthy and inadequate diet, exercise less and increasingly remain among their own kind in isolated residential areas.

The "Triumph für Kinder" foundation consequently supports precisely those projects which help break this vicious circle of child poverty.
