Trouble-free documentation for disposal companies

Leading disposal company G.E.D. mbH saves costs with solutions from TA Triumph-Adler GmbH

When it comes to making savings, the Swabian entrepreneur makes no compromises: document management provides plenty of scope for savings. And when it comes to the environment, it is German bureaucracy that makes no compromises: in the disposal of building materials, seamless and legally-compliant documentation is mandatory.

14 December 2011. The Swabian waste disposal specialist G.E.D. Gleisschotter-Entsorgung-Dienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH has been supported in this area by a specialist for the last seven years: TA Triumph-Adler manages document systems and structures in order to achieve savings and meet statutory requirements. Benno Schlipf, Managing Partner of G.E.D. mbH based in Stuttgart, takes stock:

"We have to be able to rely one hundred percent on our service providers - which is why we've been working together with TA Triumph-Adler Baden-Württemberg since 2004", he says. The challenge consists of keeping the costs under control in the face of well above-average print volumes and, at the same time, complying with statutory as well as G.E.D. customer requirements. Geologist Peter Martin, Sales Manager at G.E.D. mbH, explains why perfect document management is so important for the company. "We often dispose of hazardous substances. Very accurate and seamless documentation is required by legislation - no machine must break down, no dock receipt or weighing certificate must be missing." However, the customers also specify exactly in what form documents, for example invoices, are to be presented. "So every day we have to deal with stacks of papers, which must be copied, scanned and filed", explains Peter Martin.

G.E.D. mbH's business is virtually unique. Their subsidiary, G+S GmbH, is responsible for the supply and disposal of track ballast for DB Netz AG (German Railways) throughout the Federal Republic. G+S GmbH Gleisschotter, takes care of the recycling and subsequently supplies the work sites with new, quality-tested ballast.

In addition to expertise, optimal logistics and efficient structures are essential to the highly-specialised supply and disposal business. This applies to the handling of substances on site, but also, and above all, to back office operations. "With solutions from TA Triumph-Adler, we are able to continuously monitor our print costs and print volumes - previously we were unable to even estimate these. In opting for TA Triumph-Adler, it was important for us to be able to put the entire document management into good hands, so that it was no longer a burden to us and we could concentrate more intensively on our core business", says Benno Schlipf, justifying his decision in favour of the market leader in the document business.

If there are ever any problems, then the James Service Team from TA Triumph-Adler deals with them immediately: "Our service has received a number of awards. We are proud of the fast and uncomplicated assistance that we provide to our customers in the event of faults", says Guiscardo Pin, Managing Director of TA Triumph-Adler. And James is more than just a repair service - "all-round support whereby the customer does not need to concern himself with anything; not even with the consumables", according to Guiscardo Pin. That saves money and resources. Renowned for their thrift, Swabian entrepreneurs like Benno Schlipf particularly appreciate this.
