New Management at UTAX GmbH

Specialist trading company fit for the future

Personnel changes in Norderstedt: Thomas Grethe and Martina Woschniak-Fingerhut are the new Managing Directors of the Norderstedt specialist trading company UTAX GmbH.

Norderstedt, 12 January 2010 – With the new management team, ties to the specialist trade are being substantially strengthened. Thomas Grethe, who has held sales management functions since 1986 (incl. HP, OKI, KonicaMinolta), was previously responsible for indirect business with the specialist trade and system companies at RICOH and will assume overall management of UTAX GmbH on 1 April 2010 as Spokesman of the Management Board. Grethe has knowledge of the specialist trade from the commercial and manufacturing point-of-view. His tasks will include the further expansion of the dealer and international distribution business.

Martina Woschniak-Fingerhut, previously General Manager for Marketing at Konica Minolta, will assume the management of marketing activities at UTAX as Managing Director. Ms Woschniak-Fingerhut will also be responsible for the central marketing activities of the entire TA Triumph-Adler Group – a position which has been newly created with an aim of further enhancing TA Triumph-Adler's market alignment.

In future, Ms Woschniak-Fingerhut and Mr Grethe will report to Takuma Kimura, who has assumed responsibility for the indirect business and marketing activities of the TA Triumph-Adler Group as Member of the Management Board. In addition to his product expertise, Mr Kimura has specialised marketing experience, particularly from his previous US activities for Kyocera Mita. In the context of this appointment, Mr Kimura has also been nominated as Managing Director of UTAX until further notice.

Mr Harald Bönig, who has been the Director of Sales and Marketing to date, has decided to leave the company on 30 June 2010 after nearly ten successful years. During this period, Harald Bönig has expanded UTAX into a reliable, successful and award-winning partner to the specialist trade, leading the UTAX brand to significant growth.

"For us, what counts is growth and continuity in the channel," says Robert Feldmeier, Spokesman of the TA Triumph-Adler AG Management Board. "In future, we will continue to capitalise on a strong UTAX management team in order to continue focusing on the individual requirements of our committed partners, the UTAX specialist dealers. Continuity is and remains important to us."

In order to intensify our activities with regard to the solutions business in the field of "Digital Document Organisation ("DIDO") throughout the entire TA Triumph-Adler Group, an appropriate subsidiary, Docforms, will be directly incorporated into TA Triumph-Adler AG on 1 April 2010. Since 2 January 2010, the new "DocForms GmbH" has had its own Managing Director in the person of Marco Knöpp. In this function, Knöpp replaces the former UTAX Managing Director, Michael Becker. Marco Knöpp has many years of wide-ranging sales experience, particularly in the IT sector (m+s Elektronik, ECS, arxes NCC, a&o systems + services) and in addition to his expertise in IT, will contribute his extensive experience from the areas of service and sales. His primary goal is the expansion of business relationships in order to promote the growth of DocForms in the DMS/ECM segment.
