Praise from the pope –

for the blessings of document management

Nuremberg, 19 September 2011. The pope is coming! All across Germany, people are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Pope Benedict XVI on 22 September. Preparations for the visit are in full swing. Mails, data and huge volumes of paper-based documents are being circulated. Folders on mail servers and hard disks are full to the brim with relevant information, which is being copied, printed, forwarded and archived to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Behind the scenes is a highly professional operation – in which efficient document management plays a critical role.

TA Triumph-Adler has been an expert in this field for 115 years. Even Pope Pius XI relied on the professional support of the Nuremberg-based company for his document business. He personally wrote many important church documents using his Triumph Model 10 typewriter. In 1928, Cardinal Menotti sent a telegram from the Vatican to Nuremberg to report that the “Holy Father expressed greatest pleasure with triumph typewriter.” Today, TA Triumph-Adler is the market leader in the document business in Germany. Although the typewriter no longer has a place in modern office and administration environments, you will still find countless documents in both paper and electronic form along with the corresponding hardware, software and service.

According to a recent study, German companies spend around EUR 34 billion every year on the printing of documents alone. TA Triumph-Adler is the specialist for effective document management, delivering customised solutions that reduce printing, copying scanning and electronic archiving costs by between 15 and 70 per cent. More than 1,000 customers of TA Triumph-Adler in Germany are religious organisations, which require a high level of administration and therefore face constant cost pressure. The Nuremberg-based document specialists already manage around 17,000 systems in this sector, which are used in institutions such as parish offices, deaconries, youth welfare services and social services. The money saved in document management thanks to TA Triumph-Adler is then used to fund the “core business” of these organisations –
looking after the welfare  of people.
