Security for sensitive corporate data:
TA Triumph-Adler provides comprehensive protection against data abuse.
The topic of data security is gaining increasing importance in the field of document management. With its comprehensive security package, TA Triumph-Adler AG offers numerous options in order to meet these rising demands. With the aid of standard integrated solutions and custom-upgradable security options, the specialists for efficiency in the document business offer local security settings as well as comprehensive protection at the network level. The secure copying, printing, scanning and faxing of documents is thus ensured.
Nuremberg, 16 March 2010. Growing transparency, rising speeds and a high level of digitalisation with regard to business processes: these developments have led to increased security precautions in day-to-day office operations. Particularly in view of the everyday use of modern communication methods in companies, unauthorised interventions in networks and the access to confidential data by unauthorised persons must be ruled out. TA Triumph-Adler supports companies with a comprehensive security package, which offers the greatest possible protection for sensitive information by means of a variety of tools. For this purpose, the document business specialist adheres to the international Common Criteria security standard; its Data Security Kits comply with the ISO 15408 standard.
“Whether it’s a multifunctional system, printer, copier or fax machine, the TA Triumph-Adler systems feature a standardised security tool package which is already activated in the systems supplied and can be activated in the case of older systems,” explain the experts for data security at TA Triumph-Adler. To prevent data from being intercepted “en route”, TA Triumph-Adler implements SSL encryption. This type of encryption is also used for security purposes in online banking. It ensures that sensitive data is encrypted during transfer from the PC via the company network.
A security watermark can be added in order to protect printed data. If unauthorised persons attempt to copy a document of this type, the security mark becomes apparent, indicating that the copy is unauthorised. An alternative security option is the Document Guard Kit. Here, the printouts are electronically marked, rendering reproduction impossible from the outset, as the system automatically terminates the copy, scan or fax process.
For optimum protection, TA Triumph-Adler supplies Data Security Kits. These protect the hard drives installed in the printing and copying systems. A special overwrite algorithm optionally overwrites all the data relating to a completed print job either once or three times. Subsequently, this data cannot therefore be called up by unauthorised persons. The PDF Compression Kit prevents scanned-in documents from being printed out and reproduced without authorisation. A password, which only the recipient obtains, can be assigned directly during the scanning process. Although the PDF can be opened without a password, no hard copies can be created.
TA Triumph-Adler offers a special disposal service for end-of-life printers. The document business specialist collects the obsolete machines and, if desired, deletes all data from the hard drives prior to disposal of the systems. This prevents sensitive data from falling into unauthorised hands following final use of the system at the company. Removal and return of the hard drives to the customer is also optionally possible, as is the removal and physical destruction of hard drives by a certified disposal company.
