Simplicity as a success factor in document management

"Simplify your Büro": new TA Triumph-Adler image campaign

Successful companies are characterised by simple processes. This also applies to document management. Simplifying document-driven processes can achieve potential savings of at least 30%, while significantly enhancing efficiency and above all ensuring time savings during day-to-day office work. Optimising office operations has been the core business of document business specialist TA Triumph-Adler for 115 years. Reason enough for a new image campaign emphasising this efficiency and simplicity.

New campaign, new claim
There is a great deal of potential in simplifying working processes and lowering costs. More than 35,000 customers of the Nuremberg-based market leader are well aware of this. They place their trust in the quality and efficiency of TA's TÜV-certified service. The question is, how is this achieved? The answer is as simple as ever at TA Triumph-Adler and is being communicated in a precise and slightly tongue-in-cheek manner with the company's new German slogan: Simplify your Büro. Denn Einfachheit ist Wirksamkeit (Simplify your office, because simplicity is efficiency).

"In the increasingly complex world of work, customers' need for workload reduction, service and simplicity is growing,“ explains Karl Rainer Thiel, Head of Corporate Communication & -Marketing at TA Triumph-Adler. "We meet this need and make the office simple, leaving the customer more time for the essentials.“ This message is also being emphasised in a new image campaign using German sayings and proverbs, which are contradicted in the same breath. "Those who have TA Triumph-Adler as a partner no longer need hackneyed wisdoms or outdated advice,“ says Thiel, explaining this unorthodox approach. "Because we have the best answers to the challenges of today's office practice and ensure that the customer overcomes all obstacles.

This year, the Nuremberg-based specialist in the document business has already been presented with several awards for this ability. These include the IT innovation prize from Initiative Mittelstand, a best-in-class ranking at the Best Marketing Company Awards and recently, on 6 July, silver for the corporate magazine: "einfach einfach“ (Simply Simple) at Europe's premier Corporate Publishing Awards.

In the past, efficiency went under the name of "Gabriele“
In July 1896, 115 years ago, the Deutsche Triumph Fahrradwerke AG bicycle factory was founded, and soon went on to produce motorbikes and typewriters. After the legendary Max Grundig merged the two companies Triumph and Adler in 1957 and focussed exclusively on office machines, he laid the foundations for a globally-operating office communication company specialising in typewriters. At the time, the "Gabriele“ model was already synonymous with efficiency in the office. Sold millions of times, German author Johannes Mario Simmel wrote his bestsellers on a "Gabriele“ And Jack Nicholson also fell for the charms of a TA model in the film of Stephen King's bestseller, 'The Shining'.

"The aura of the only remaining German brand in the field still shines unabated, even after 115 years,“ says Guiscardo Pin, Managing Director of TA Triumph-Adler. "Today, we stand for the successful transformation of a traditional company into a market-leading office communication service provider. With our document management solutions, our customers perform their office work more quickly, more efficiently and more simply.“

On the occasion of the anniversary, precisely this core message is to be seen everywhere. Not only will "Simplify your Büro“ appear in the high-circulation German magazines with immediate effect, but also in TV adverts, on the web and even on board numerous domestic flights. This quirky but memorable claim alludes to the megatrend towards simplification, which has been present in Europe for some years now: the trend to "simplify". The claim plays on this trend by then using the German word "Büro" (office) with all its connotations of workaday grind. Thus, that which makes companies successful is revealed at all communication levels: concentration on the essentians - and TA takes care of the rest.
