Document management

TA Triumph-Adler delivers a comprehensive concept for medium-sized businesses

Comprehensive service, an outstanding MPS concept and new multi-function systems are helping to reduce costs and support sales

The pace of economic growth is accelerating. However, to ensure that the effects of this upturn reach the very backbone of the German economy - medium-sized businesses, the self-employed and tradespeople - costs need to be cut and businesses need to invest more in sales and customer care. Studies consistently highlight the significant potential that exists for increasing efficiency, particularly in the areas of IT and document management.

Nuremberg, April 27, 2011 - The effects of an unreliable IT infrastructure extend beyond a company's value chain. Customers become frustrated and eventually switch to another provider. Furthermore, companies are distracted from the task of keeping control of their costs. Studies show that this type of failure in IT costs medium-sized companies more than € 2,000 per day on average.

Significant potential for cost savings can also be found in document management. The consultants at TA Triumph-Adler, the market leader in this area, conduct regular evaluations of the cost situation before and after optimsation of the IT infrastructure. The data for around 35,000 customers in sectors ranging from the motor trade to healthcare and public administration proves that investment in innovative technology and good service can reduce printing, scanning and copying costs by at least 15 per cent.

The long-established Nuremberg company is today the specialist in the document business, designing customised modular solutions that are both device-independent and brand-independent. Guiscardo Pin, Managing Director and COO, describes the primary objective of the unique approach adopted by the TA experts: "We help to release tied-up capital.“ He believes that a professional document management system can do much more than just optimise processes. It can give companies a strategic advantage in an increasingly tough and competitive environment.

However, the market leader is also well aware that reducing costs alone does not constitute a unique selling point. Success must also be achieved in sales. This requires investment in order to gain time that can be spent concentrating on customers and on the core business instead of on office administration issues that waste valuable time and resources. Problems that affect document management such as maintenance downtimes or missing consumables have no place in the TA Triumph-Adler concept. Easy and convenient access to the right information in the right place at the right time is both the objective and the result of professional document management, whether in paper or electronic form.

The company achieves this in three ways. Firstly, through comprehensive and reliable service. 400 systems engineers with experience from over 200,000 installed systems from all manufacturers provide customers with round-the-clock service, seven days a week.

This service is part of a Managed Print Service (MPS) concept, which integrates all of the printer and copier systems of a company, regardless of manufacturer, in a single web-based control centre - the first concept of its kind in the industry. It was launched under the name KIRK. In April, a distinguished jury of IT experts from industry and academic circles awarded TA Triumph-Adler the "Initiative Mittelstand" IT Innovation Award 2011 for the solution.

The customer-oriented concept is currently being expanded to include new multi-function systems. These systems not only save energy and space, but are also extremely fast and easy to use. They are also quiet enough to be used directly in the workplace. These systems create an ideal office environment for start-ups and SMEs. They are currently being advertised in leading German business media using the buzzwords "Tollhybrid" (superhybrid) and "Einfachkraft" (simply powerful), which perfectly describe the special features of these systems - fast, powerful and easy to use.

"Simply benefit!“ It stands to reason that the benefit-oriented brand philosophy of TA Triumph-Adler has a strong emphasis on business success. Achieving sustainable success does not require major effort or shows of strength, but rather partners and solutions that combine cost efficiency, productivity and ease of use, thus giving customer management and sales greater freedom.
