27.11.2008: The traditional brand plans expansion across Europe

Robert Feldmeier, Spokesman of the Management Board of TA Triumph-Adler, views the announcement of the increased shareholding by Kyocera Mita Corporation, Osaka, Japan, in the Nuremberg company as a positive development for the TA Triumph-Adler brand. Last week, TA Triumph-Adler announced that the Japanese partner intends to significantly expand its stake beyond the 29.9% it has held to date. This will also give the German specialist for efficiency in the document business an additional stimulus for growth in Europe in 2009.

Nuremberg, November 27, 2008 – “TA Triumph-Adler will not only remain an independent brand, but will continue to grow stronger. In Kyocera Mita Corporation we have a financially strong and reliable partner, who will help us to move ahead with expansion plans,” says Robert Feldmeier, who will continue to lead the Nuremberg-based corporation along with Dr. Bernd Köhler and Takuma Kimura. The Spokesman of the Board of Directors also views this move as an opportunity to position the Franconian company – which until now has operated primarily in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic – as specialists for efficiency in the document business in the international arena. “Kyocera Mita will also benefit from our close co-operation,” says Feldmeier confidently. “Our Japanese partners are planning to enter direct sales with our help. Until now, they have only sold through specialist dealers.” Feldmeier is convinced that the increased shareholding will have positive effects for both companies: “The combination of experienced management and the synergies that we intend to use will be the driving force for raising the profile of the company and of the TA Triumph-Adler brand in the 2009 business year.”
