10.11.2009: With TA Triumph-Adler, public authorities save at least 20 % of their printing costs

Reducing costs, increasing efficiency and setting standards – these are the objectives of public authority modernisation. Outsourcing certain tasks to external suppliers provides public authorities with the best preconditions for achieving optimal results in their modernisation processes. How outsourcing, above and beyond the cost aspect, can provide the opportunity for fully concentrating on the actual tasks at hand, is demonstrated by the example of Kevelaer municipal authority. It has entrusted its entire document management to TA Triumph-Adler West GmbH.

Dortmund, 10 November 2009 – the market leader in the document business commands special expertise in the public authority sector. Customers include the business enterprises of Stadt Unna GmbH and Kevelaer municipal authority: the latter allows TA Triumph-Adler to take care of its entire output management with a total of 91 systems. The precise conditions are regulated in a flexible framework agreement, which is repeatedly adapted to current requirements during recurrent annual appraisals. The wonder weapon of the document experts in the war on hidden cost sinks: the specially developed consulting and analysis concept TOM (Total Output Management). This enables detailed analysis of the existing cost structures. A particular challenge with this project was the incorporation of systems, certified by the Federal Printing Office, for the production of identity cards in the citizen's advice bureau of Kevelaer municipal authority.
