07.05.2009: TA Triumph-Adler offers solutions to deal with increasing cost pressure in care facilities

The theme of the 5th National Conference for Health Economy, which recently took place in Rostock, was ‘Successful Ageing – Meeting the Challenge of Demographic Change in the Health Economy’, an issue which is highly topical at present. Current estimates from the Federal Statistical Office show that the demographic shift in Germany could lead to more than three million people requiring long-term care by the year 2030. This development coupled with the current downturn in the German economy is placing long-term care facilities in particular under enormous cost pressure. Robert Feldmeier, Spokesman of the Management Board of TA Triumph-Adler AG, recognises these difficulties and describes some immediate solutions:

“Most people looking to make savings in social services organisations aren’t aware that the electronic management of documents offers savings potential of up to 70 per cent. Costs for the printing, faxing, copying and scanning of paper-based documents can also be reduced by 20 per cent. In large organisations, annual savings amounting to five-figure or even six-figure sums can be achieved. TA Triumph-Adler offers customised solutions that can unlock this savings potential quickly and easily to reduce cost pressure,” explains Feldmeier. “Using our own TOM (Total Output Management) analysis and consulting concept, we are able to achieve significant improvements in efficiency in paper-based document management through targeted process optimisation. In electronic document management, we use the modular DIDO (Digital Document Organisation) concept to develop solutions that help our customers to save money.” Feldmeier’s knowledge is based on a wealth of practical experience. As the specialist for efficiency in the document business, TA Triumph-Adler has successfully completed more than 700 projects in the healthcare sector to date.
