15.09.2009: TA Triumph-Adler sponsors office systems for the LIEBHERR European Table Tennis Championships
Topspin, counterball and flip are once again the operative words at the LIEBHERR European Table Tennis Championships in Stuttgart, where top players vie for the coveted titles in the singles, doubles and team events. In order to ensure that everything runs smoothly, not only at the tables, but also in the back office, document specialist TA Triumph-Adler is supporting Baden-Württemberg GmbH as exclusive partner for office communications during this major sporting occasion. The subsidiary of Nuremberg-based firm TA Triumph-Adler AG is providing the necessary office systems and ensuring their smooth operation and full availability at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Hall and Porsche-Arena venues of the LIEBHERR European Championships.
Fellbach-Schmiden, September 15, 2009 – This year’s LIEBHERR European Championships will not only be especially exciting for inveterate table tennis enthusiasts: The organisers are expecting a full house when Timo Boll, currently third in the world rankings, defends no fewer than three titles: he is currently the reigning European Champion in the singles, doubles and team categories. As the event’s organiser, the German Table Tennis Federation can be sure to attract a high degree of public attention.
In order for current information on the event, e.g. tournament lists and match schedules to be printed, copied, faxed and scanned at all times, TA Triumph-Adler has provided a total of nine multifuncitonal systems and six fax machines. As exclusive partner of the German Table Tennis Federation, the document business specialsts have also equipped the press centre with the appropriate office technology: Sports reporters covering the event benefit from the technology and logistics provided by the company. They have access to systems which they can use to create high-quality printouts of match schedules, articles and photos in no time at all. High availability of these systems is absolutely essential for the smooth running of the tournament. After all, the organisers are anticipating a print and copy volume of some 150,000 pages during the European Championships. TA Triumph-Adler therefore provides the necessary consumables and associated services in addition to the hardware.
“The LIEBHERR European Championships not only represent a great challange in sporting terms,” says Matthias Vatheuer, Secretary General of the German Table Tennis Federation. “Speed and efficiency are also required behind the scenes. Information has to be faxed, printed and copied. In TA Triumph-Adler, the German Table Tennis Federation has found a strong partner, whose systems offer the ideal solutions for this logistical challenge.”
TA Triumph-Adler is no newcomer to sports sponsorship. Last year, the document experts supported the Baden Open, an ATP-Challenger Series Men’s Tennis Tournament and in 2006, the company equipped the football stadiums with the necessary office communications technology for the FIFA World Cup. Professional Bundesliga football clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha BSC also count among the TA Triumph-Adler customers. “Particularly in the sponsoring of large sporting events, a high degree of flexibitlity is required,” says Uwe Trapp, Managing Director of TA Baden-Württemberg GmbH. “Thanks to our nationwide service organisation, we can react flexibly to the specific requirements at hand. Furthermore, we supply everything, from the hardware and software through to the necessary consumables from a single source, which makes us a particularly suitable partner for logistically complex solutions.”
