With the models DC 2162 and DC 2182 TA Triumph-Adler is presenting two new b/w digital copier systems for high volume applications.
The systems offer a copying speed of 62/82 pages A4 and 31/41 pages A3 per minute, respectively. The resolution is 600 x 600 dpi.
High productivity
The DC 2162 and the DC 2182 are suitable for use in a large team as well as a central departmental unit. The models offer a duplex unit as standard. The standard document feeder with duplex scan function holds up to 260 originals and processes up to 110 images per minute.
Thanks to the standard memory of 128 MB and the 40 GB hard disk, even large copy jobs are carried out within short time. Both models can optionally be expanded with a scan and a print system. The paper capacity of 4,100 sheets can be extended up to 8,100 sheets in total.
Professional finishing
The DC 2162 and the DC 2182 process paper formats of A3 to A6R and paper weights of up to 200 g/m2 (up to 160 g/m2 in duplex mode). As an option, the systems can be fitted out with a 3,000 sheet finisher. Combined with modular applicable finisher extensions, the output documents then are sorted, stapled, punched or finished to a max 64-page brochure.
By use of the likewise optional multi tray, different jobs are assigned to own output trays, which makes manual sorting of different jobs redundant.
User friendliness and security
The individual administration of up to 1,000 management codes enables a cost control according to projects, users or departments, if desired.
Thanks to an adjustable touch screen as well as intelligent functions like electronic sort and programming of multi-page jobs, the use of the DC 2162 and the DC 2182 is very convenient.
The DC 2162 has been available since September, the DC 2182 since end of November 2009.
