2003 Strategic alliance with the Kyocera Mita global corporation
TA Triumph-Adler seals a strategic alliance with the Japanese company Kyocera Mita, which acquires a 25% interest in the company.
The subsidiary of the Kyocera global corporation is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of copier systems and laser printers. Access to the Kyocera product range, including the low-cost and environmentally friendly ECOSYS printing technology, gives TA a significant competitive advantage.
2004 New financial structure – group restructuring largely completed
During the restructuring of the TA Triumph-Adler, Kyocera Mita increases its interest in the group to 29.9%.
The new financing structure implemented by the end of the year has a volume of EUR 130 million. EUR 30 million of this is intended for new acquisitions and other market offensives. By 2004/2005 the restructuring has largely been completed.
2005 Unbeatable consulting and analysis concept
TA further strengthens its market position in the imaging sector:
TA Triumph-Adler Rheinland GmbH, the group’s largest subsidiary, purchases Sankopie GmbH, one of the chief specialist dealers in copier and printer systems in the Düsseldorf region. New acquisitions follow. The unbeatable page price concept TOM (Total Output Management) sets the standard as a lower-cost consulting and analysis programme.
2006 Record year with a brand profile as the specialist in the document business
TA Triumph-Adler presents its newly defined market appearance and brand profile as the specialist in the document business.
TA reports profits once more for the first time since 2001. The company supplies the offices of the Organisation Committee for the FIFA 2006 World Cup in all twelve stadia in Germany and the World Cup Press Centre in Munich.
2007 Surging further ahead with TOM and DIDO
TA Triumph-Adler emphatically continues its upwards trend and is the market leader by a considerable margin.
The success of the document business specialists is attributable to the unrivalled analysis and consulting concepts TOM and DIDO (Digital Document Organisation) for comprehensive hardware and software solutions. TA Triumph-Adler AG is successfully increasing its capital for further growth and aims to have raised more than EUR 500 million by 2010. In recognition of his entrepreneurial achievement, Spokesman of the TA Management Board Robert Feldmeier is voted "Turnaround Manager of the Year" for 2007. The business prize is awarded by the management consultants BDO and the business publication "impulse".
2008 Awards for best brand strategy and best customer support
The number of machines under contract with customers (machines in field (MIF)) reaches the 200,000 mark for the document business specialist.
TA Triumph-Adler receives the "Best Marketing Company Award 2008". According to a study by the University of Bremen and BBDO-Consulting GmbH, the marketing strategy of the native Nuremberg firm is in the top twenty for all listed companies in Germany. The outstanding customer care provided by TA Triumph-Adler Corporate Consulting GmbH earns the company the title of ‘Germany’s Customer Champions 2008’. The competition is a new initiative by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität (DQG – German Association for Quality), forum! Marktforschung GmbH and the business publication "impulse".
