TA Triumph-Adler AG celebrates its 111th anniversary this year.
Initially founded by Siegfried Bettmann as a bicycle plant in Nuremberg on July 15, 1896, the
company started to manufacture typewriters as early as 1909 and since then has
continued to develop into the specialists in printed and digital documents.

111 years’ experience in developing products and solutions for the professional office environment have made us what we are today – the acknowledged market leader in the document business, with over 33,000 satisfied customers and over 160,000 installed systems. No other manufacturer worldwide can look back on such a long history of success.

So much ‘Triumph’ obviously does not stop at the name. Yet despite many assumptions to the contrary, the TA Triumph-Adler brand has not been involved in the manufacture of typewriters or motorbikes for a long time now, neither does it manufacture underwear.
We now provide competent IT consulting that guarantees a perfect document workflow for our business customers as well as the accompanying services, including copying, printing, faxing, scanning and electronic document management (DMS). Needless to say we have sites all across Germany, with our own logistics, our own technical support and our own financing – as you would expect from a market leader.

Behind our company anniversary naturally also lies a fascinating and very eventful history. More than anything else, though, it is an idea that is responsible for the successful existence of our company.
