22.04.2009: TA Triumph-Adler acquires MS Farbdrucklösungen in Schorndorf

As part of its 'Aufbruch 2010!' programme for growth, Nuremberg-based company TA Triumph-Adler AG is investing in colour technologies to expand its business. The subsidiary TA Triumph-Adler Baden-Württemberg GmbH is now taking a further step in this direction with the immediate takeover of the business operations of Schorndorf-based MS Farbdrucklösungen. This takeover will enable to company to further expand its regional solution competence as the specialist in the document business by offering solutions for printing houses, publishing houses and local government.

Nuremberg, April 22 2009 - The acquisition will result in many advantages for regular customers of the Schorndorf-based specialist dealer: "The takeover offers numerous synergies on both sides, which we aim to use for the benefit of everyone involved," says Robert Feldmeier, Spokesman of the Management Board of TA Triumph-Adler AG. "In addition to the financial security of a strong, customer-driven German brand, customers will immediately benefit from the wide range of products and services of an internationally active business and the excellent growth opportunities offered by our integrated solution approach." With the aid of the dual concepts of 'TOM' (Total Output Management) for paper- and hardware-related issues and 'DIDO' (Digital Document Organisation) for digital issues (DMS), TA Triumph-Adler acts as a one-stop shop, delivering customised solutions for the printing, copying, faxing, scanning and archiving of documents. However, customers will benefit from much more than just the new solutions provided by the Group. They will now also be able to take advantage of TA Triumph-Adler's comprehensive financing and service offerings. The local decision-making competence of the new management team at TA Baden-Württemberg will be retained thanks to the decentralised organisational structure of TA Triumph-Adler AG.

The TA Triumph-Adler Group is in turn acquiring a successful team with a proven track record, particularly in the colour segment, where around half of the machines supported are colour devices. The new acquisition from Schorndorf also successfully sells rapid production printing systems for large print runs. This division is set for further expansion under the leadership of Uwe Trapp, Managing Director of TA Triumph-Adler Baden-Württemberg GmbH. MS Farbdrucklösungen employees, who until now worked in the production printing systems segment, will continue to work in the same area under the umbrella brand of TA Triumph-Adler. The former Managing Director and owner of MS Farbdrucklösungen, Marc-Daniel Savic, is moving to TA Triumph-Adler Bayern GmbH.

Despite the economic crisis, TA Triumph-Adler remains confident of its plans for a return to sales and earnings growth: "In Kyocera Mita we have a strong partner by our side, who is supporting us in the implementation of our programme for growth. Together we will develop and implement a strategy, which will enable us to expand the direct sales business model at national level and establish it internationally", says Feldmeier.
