TA Triumph-Adler AG continues to move on; Sales growth and net profit planned for FY 2006

Nuremberg, May 30, 2006 –TA Triumph-Adler AG is looking at growing sales volume in its current fiscal year, Robert Feldmeier, Speaker of the Board of Management, pointed out today at the company’s Annual General Meeting. The group is listed in Deutsche Boerse’s Prime Standard segment. Along with continued sales growth in its existing core business, TA Triumph-Adler, the specialists in document business efficiency, plans further acquisitions as well as extending its regional reach in Europe by establishing local subsidiaries. Recently, companies were acquired in Germany and Austria and a new enterprise was established covering the Benelux countries.

Subsequent to its corporate restructuring TA Triumph-Adler now increasingly offers its SME customer base comprehensive corporate document consulting and document business solutions. According to Feldmeier, special potential comes from expanding the printer business as well as from the colour and multifunctional machines presented at CeBIT trade show this year. The strategic cooperation with Kyocera Mita offers TA Triumph-Adler competitive advantages on the technical and commercial levels, he added. The leading Japanese printer and copier manufacturer holds a 29.9% stake in TA Triumph-Adler AG.

Dr. Bernd Koehler, the new Chief Financial Officer, emphasized that the group is striving to further improve its operating margins and to yield a net profit in 2006. A comprehensive improvement program aims at optimizing the regional presence in Germany and the customer mix. Moreover, additional efficiency improvements and strict cost containment are being implemented. In the medium term profitability is planned to improve, yielding a return on capital employed (ROCE) above 8 %.

In the first quarter of its current fiscal year, TA Triumph-Adler AG grew 2,1 % with sales totalling € 87.6 million and reported a slightly positive result.
