TA Triumph-Adler AG steps up sales drive with 18 new models

CeBIT emphasis is on color technologies, printers, multifunctional devices

Nuremberg, March 1, 2006 - TA Triumph-Adler AG will be lending a further boost to its sales drive at the upcoming CeBIT (Hannover, March 9 -15, 2006), with a broad range of new products. Taking center stage in the new line-up of products come color copiers, color printers and multifunctional devices (MFP) in several price categories. With its 18 new models the specialist in document business efficiency is meeting the rapidly growing demand, particularly for premium-class color technologies. Last year three models from the market's leading supplier premiered at the world's largest electronics trade fair. The two Group brands, UTAX and TA Triumph-Adler, are presenting their new models at a joint stand in Hall 1, stand B31.

Although some 80 % of sales throughout the industry are still generated by black and white technologies, the proportion of color devices is set to double to 40 % by 2008. The products on show at CeBIT range from small, affordable workplace color laser printers to highly-productive multifunctional devices able to meet the most exacting needs. Most of the devices are network-enabled, and can manage the documents on internal hard disks while using the latest security standards. The document output can be sorted and stapled as required, complete with holes punched, or it can be produced in finished booklet form. Customer-specific applications can be integrated into the printing and copying systems via a JAVA interface.

The Nuremberg-based solutions provider is laying particular emphasis on achieving even higher market penetration with its premium printers. The aim is to significantly increase the share of sales contributed by printers over the next few years in order to generate additional growth impetus.

Industry analysts are forecasting that sales of total solutions will more than double over the next four years, outstripping sales of hardware alone at the end of 2008. A similar development to this one in the US is also expected in Europe. With its T.O.M. consulting and sales concept, TA Triumph-Adler AG regards itself as being in an excellent position to respond to this coming trend towards solutions-focused offers. With this background in mind, the company is planning further organic growth and sustained profitability.
