TA Triumph-Adler Multifunctional Products - DC 2063 / DC 2075 (March 2003)

Press release March 2003

With the DC 2075 multifunctional system, TA Triumph-Adler is introducing a further addition to the product range alongside the already available DC 2063 model at the CeBIT exhibition.

The DC 2063 works in copying and printing mode at a speed of 63 pages while the DC 2075 copies and prints 75 pages of DIN A4/min. (DIN A3: 32 and 38 pages respectively). Scanning the originals and generating the copies can be carried out simultaneously. Duplex productivity is approx. 85%, which likewise contributes to the smooth and rapid output.

Both systems feature the tried and tested Wide-Touch control panel, by means of which the user can select the functions he requires without any difficulty. Frequently used functions can be arranged on the control panel as required in the form of shortcuts to make programming both quick and easy.

Network-friendliness
With the optional printer hard disk for the printing system, confidential jobs can be carried out or archived under password protection. The barcode printer/reader function enables frequently occurring print jobs to be identified by a readable bar code. Virtual mailboxes are available for user-specific jobs, in which individual print jobs can be saved and called up separately.

If the DC 2063 / DC 2075 is integrated into a network, every workstation on the network will have the benefit of a scanner. Data can be called up using TWAIN or can be sent directly to any internal PC. All scan functions can likewise be controlled and checked via the Wide-Touch control panel.

High productivity
The standard paper storage capacity of 4,200 sheets can be increased by means of an optional 4,000-sheet paper magazine to a total capacity of 8,200 sheets.
By using two DC 2063 or two DC 2075 systems in tandem mode, the user will have the benefit of combined high-power printing or copying speeds of 126 / 150 pages of DIN A4/min. This enables high volume jobs to be dealt with in half the time. Unnecessary stoppages due to a shortage of paper in one of the two connected machines are avoided by automatic access to the stock in the other machine.

Wide range of finishing options
Equipped as standard with a saddle stapler and three stapling positions for up to 50 sheets, the optional finisher can be expanded in many ways for professional finishing. These include brochure folding, hole punching and a 5-way mailbox, which ready-sorts, staples and punches up to 200 sheets.
The outputting of files from different applications all together in one single job is equally as possible as the combination of scanned-in and computer-created documents.

Prints and copies are output with a resolution of 1,800 x 600 dpi (interpolated) while the network scanner provides 600 x 600 dpi.

The features of the DC 2063 / DC 2075 are rounded off by functions such as the memo mode, front and back cover, ECO printing, job reservation, form processing (up to 100 forms) and repeat function.

The DC 2063 has been available since January 2003 and the DC 2075 is expected to be available from May 2003.
