Press Release, 03.05.2007
TA Triumph-Adler AG continues to focus on its acquisition activity
Two specialist dealers acquired in April
Nuremberg, May 3, 2007 - Following the acquisition of the company Unicopie in January, TA Triumph-Adler has now acquired, either wholly or to a large extent, two further specialist trading companies. This relates to the acquisition of all shares in KomTec Vertriebsgesellschaft für Kommunikationstechnik GmbH, Hilden. The company was merged with Triumph-Adler Rheinland GmbH with retrospective effect as of January 1, 2007. This step allows the company to round out its leading position in the Düsseldorf area, and opens up access to strategically important new large-scale customers in particular. At the same time, TA Triumph-Adler Frankfurt GmbH acquired selected assets from the company Druck+Kopie Systemtechnik, Frankfurt/Main, particularly its major customer base, as well as various long-term end-customer agreements.
As a result of both acquisitions, TA Triumph-Adler is gaining some additional 1,200 machines in the field, as well as revenue in excess of € 3 million.
The move allows the specialist for efficiency in the Document Business to secure and expand its market position in the Rhineland and in the Rhine-Main region in line with the strategy that the company has been implementing successfully since 2006: the expansion of its business with major customers and medium-sized companies, export growth, and growth through acquisitions. The company aims to access further revenue and earnings potential through the planned complete redemption in 2007 of its existing finance structure through a mix of debt instruments, as well as a capital increase of approximately € 20 million.
