Takes over the document business segment of Heinrich Derksen Büroorganisation GmbH, Kleve

Nuremberg, February 14, 2006 - TA Triumph-Adler AG has taken over the document business segment of Heinrich Derksen Büroorganisation GmbH in Kleve through its direct subsidiary company TA Triumph-Adler Rheinland GmbH, with effect from the beginning of the year. With this move TA Triumph-Adler AG is continuing to consistently expand its leading market position in this region.

The transaction comprises the employees working in this business segments, the facility and the inventories, plus the active customer base consisting of around 1,000 copiers and printers covered by long-term contractual agreements. Apart from several local authorities in the Lower Rhine area, customers include larger companies such as Fujifilm GmbH in Dusseldorf and Katjes Fassin GmbH in Kleve.The Derksen company, which has so far been operating as a full-range retailer, will focus in future exclusively on the office furniture business.

TA Triumph-Adler, the specialist in document business efficiency, is planning to carefully expand the current volume of sales in the newly acquired operations from around € 2 million in the next few years, in particular by introducing the Total Output Management (T.O.M.) sales approach. Using Total Output Management, TA Triumph-Adler offers customers a single source for their copier and printer configurations, enabling them to cut costs by more than ten percent in this area. TA Triumph-Adler is now already enjoying considerable success with this integrated consulting concept.

TA Triumph-Adler AG itself already maintains around 1,000 copiers and printers under long-term contractual agreements in the Kleve area. As it expands into the Netherlands, this location will become particularly important as an additional base for logistical and technical support. As already announced, TA Triumph-Adler Benelux B.V. in Hengelo is currently starting business operations.

TA Triumph-Adler Rheinland GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TA Triumph-Adler AG, and with sales of over 60 million euros is the largest service provider of this kind in Germany. With more than 24,000 copiers and printers currently under multi-year contracts, the company serves businesses of all sizes in the region between Bonn, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Aachen as customers and partners.

In the first nine months of fiscal year 2005, the core business of TA Triumph-Adler AG, the specialist in document business efficiency, grew by eight percent over the previous year, achieving sales of € 248 million. With around 400 sales specialists and more than 500 service technicians, the company looks after in excess of 30,000 customers, with over 125,000 copiers and printers under contract. TA Triumph-Adler AG's market share of 10% makes it far and away the market leader in Germany. The company has continued its turnaround here according to plan, and is targeting a return to sustained operating profitability for fiscal year 2005. For fiscal year 2006 the company expects further growth and continued improvement in its market position as a result of the increase in market share it is targeting. It is also expecting to increase profitability well above the norm due to the measures it has already taken to streamline the internal organization and to boost efficiency.
