New product range from TA Triumph-Adler - DC 2025 / DC 2035 (December 2001)

Press Release December 2001

TA Triumph-Adler is launching its new range of multifunctional products with two systems at once. The models
DC 2025 and DC 2035 (copying speed 25/35 pages A4/min., 15/19 pages A3/min.) combine the know-how from the copying, faxing, printing and scanning sectors - incorporated into the network. With features such as operator guidance, rapid output and proof printing, the systems rank amongst the leaders in their market segment..

Time-saving
Ready to use after a warm-up time of just 60 seconds, the unit produces the first copy in less than 3.9 seconds, a sensationally short time in this segment. The original feeder speed is the same as the printing speed. And with respective duplex productivities of 90% (DC 2025) and 85% (DC 2035), there is hardly any difference to the creation of single-sided copies.

Professional high-volume finishing
Equipped as standard with a paper storage of 1,200 sheets (2 x 500 sheets plus 200-sheet stacked feeder), the capacity can be increased up to 4,200 sheets. As a result, these units are predestined for use in areas where high-volume copying/printing is required or as the network printer.
A 3,000-sheet capacity finisher is available as the paper output, which punches the sheets with 2 holes or 4 holes at 100% copying speed. A job separator, mailbox and brochure-finisher round off the product.

Ideal for network use
With the optional print controller and network card, the DC 2025 / DC 2035 become the printing center for the network. The new printer driver makes operation and monitoring easy for everyone.
Saved print jobs can be called up independently from the PC via the unit's touch screen display. This relieves the load on the network.

With the help of a 4-digit code, confidential files can also be effortlessly printed out at any time and without them unintentionally falling into the wrong hands. When proof-printing (using the optional hard disk), only the first copy of the document is initially printed when printing batches. Only when this has been checked does the operator release the whole order to the system.

With the scan option, paper originals are converted into electronic documents for forwarding and processing via the network. Formats up to A3 are scanned in seconds and are then available as e-mail for sending to PCs on the network or in Twain-compatible form for further processing, e.g. for archiving. Dual access enables printing and scanning to be carried out at the same time.

The Super G3 modem at 33.6 Kbit/second add a fax option to round off the range of functions.

These multifunction devices have been available for delivery since December 2001.
