Press Release, 12.09.2006

TA Triumph-Adler AG continues its successful sales campaign in the hospital sector

Clinics in Worms and Dusseldorf being provided with 2,300 new systems - already more than 450 customers in the hospital sector

Nuremberg, September 12, 2006 –Triumph-Adler AG has booked two additional new contracts from the hospital sector. The Worms City Hospital and now the University Clinic Dusseldorf will in future almost entirely be using machines supplied by the TA Triumph-Adler company for copying, printing, faxing and scanning. These contracts provide for the old machines to be removed and replaced with approximately 2,300 new systems altogether. A key factor behind these investments in each case was the analysis and consulting regarding Total Output Management (TOM), which highlighted for the clinics where there were significant potentials for them to cut costs.

This comprehensive analytical approach to efficient document business is enabling companies and institutions to achieve savings of at least 15 percent of their annual printing costs, without having to change the existing infrastructure, explains Frank Eismann, Managing Director of the Bonn-based TA Triumph-Adler Consulting GmbH. This latter is where TA Triumph-Adler focuses its consulting activities for its pan-regional Key Accounts, and where it has also built up a particular expertise in the clinic sector. Eismann’s experience shows that each clinic prints an average of 250,000 pages per month on an annual basis, and spends more than 160,000 euros per year on printing and copying alone.

As part of a marketing campaign running over the last 12 months approximately, TA Triumph-Adler has been taking an in-depth look particularly at the situation in the healthcare sector. And its concept has meanwhile succeeded in gaining more than 450 clinics and hospitals in Germany as customers. Frank Eismann points out that over the past few months alone his company, TA Triumph-Adler Consulting, has acquired such major establishments as the Diakonie-Kliniken Frankfurt am Main as customers, along with the Kerckhoff-Klinik and all the facilities of the Malteser Trägergesellschaft, Caritas and Johanniter. Hospitals will continue to represent a key area of the company’s sales focus, as shown, for example, when TA Triumph-Adler Management Board Chairman Robert Feldmeier presented the concept on August 31, 2006, at the “Klinik – Wirtschaft – Innovation” clinic congress in Dortmund.
